We posted a blog piece a few months back about the trend of people doing whole house rehab projects. The following photos and narrative are of an Isle of Palms, SC house renovated and upgraded by the B. Chaney Improvements team. Brad Chaney and his craftsmen took the 1950s-era rancher and turned it into a “Lowcountry Cottage” style home. The look helps it blend into the landscape of homes now being built in and around the Charleston area.
“This home is in a beach community, and the client wanted to reflect that throughout the renovation,” says Brad. “The client also wanted to add a 500-square foot addition.”
The list of upgrades includes:
– New kitchen
– New master bathroom
– New master bedroom
– New hall bathroom & a remodeled bathroom
– 8′ ceiling raised to 10′ in the living room
– New metal roof
– New siding
– New deck
– New floors
– New windows
