April is a great time of year in the South Carolina Lowcountry. The warmer days bring out flowers, leaves – most could do without the pollen — and vegetable plants to the shelves of local nurseries. It’s also a great time to get more active and get the house in shape before the outdoor activities really 
take over your desires. Whether you like hiking, fishing, camping or just relaxing on the deck, now is the time to get the work done.
Spring cleaning is always a “popular” activity this time of year. Cleaning up the yard and cleaning out the storage areas and extra rooms in the house. It’s also a great time to reimagine how to use that extra space. Turning a bonus room into an office, man cave, or even an in-law suite for aging loved ones. Getting the opinion of an experienced craftsman — like Brad Chaney of B. Chaney Improvements — may even open up possibilities that never crossed your mind.

April is National Hope Month and National Earth Month
The B. Chaney staff members are up for a few month-long April celebrations. While they know they can’t do everything to protect the planet, they make sure to keep job sites clean. That is good for the planet and appreciated by the neighbors of building projects. And for those that know Brad Chaney, they know hope is a big part of what drives him in business and his personal life. Brad works to build hope and trust with his clients, so they enjoy the building process.
